Central Asian University is seeking Lecturer in Accounting . The post-holder is expected to assume an hourly/fully position within the Business school.

Job Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop and deliver undergraduate courses in accounting.
• Design and structure curricula in alignment with accreditation standards.
• Use innovative teaching methods, including online teaching tools, to enhance student engagement.
• Research and Publication: Conduct high-quality research in accounting or related fields.
• Publish research findings in reputable journals.
• Seek external funding to support research initiatives.
• Student Support and Supervision: Supervise undergraduate students in their research projects and academic development.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students to foster academic and career growth.
• Service and Engagement:
• Actively participate in departmental, school, and university committees.
• Collaborate with the community on various projects to promote knowledge exchange and community service.

Requirements:

• Education: Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field (PhD preferred).

• Work Experience: Prior teaching experience at the university level is preferred.

Hard Skills:

• Expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Familiarity with data analysis and research methods (quantitative and qualitative).

• Ability to create and deliver content for online and offline platforms.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.

• Patience and supportive attitude towards students.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, or a related practical field.
• Membership in professional accounting associations (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
• Proven track record of research and academic publication.
