Local Procurement Manager for Medical Supplies

Responsibilities:

• Purchase medical equipment, supplies, and services from local vendors.

• Research the local market and identify reliable suppliers.

• Request and compare quotes; negotiate and finalize best offers.

• Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with procurement rules and local regulations.

• Coordinate with departments on purchasing needs.

• Track deliveries and manage timelines.

• Maintain accurate procurement records.

• Support process improvement and supplier relationship management.

Requirements:

Education:

• Degree in Business, Medicine, or related field (students welcome to apply).

Experience:

• Experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally in healthcare.

• Familiarity with public tenders and local vendor management.

• Background in medical goods purchasing is a plus.

Skills:

• Knowledge of procurement rules and local market.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.

• Strong negotiation, planning, and communication skills.

• Fluent in Uzbek, Russian, and English.

• High integrity, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of medical product registration and customs procedures.

• Existing network of local medical suppliers.

Working Conditions:

• Work schedule: 5/7, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
